Fixed problem in transaction log which prevented individual users from being printed.
20 Aug 2002 - USER.EXE - Build 52
Updated USER.HLP (help file)
1. If a user pressed the desktop icon whilst WHOS-IN 2002 was already
running, AND the user name was the same, AND the user had their Auto
LogOut option switched on, then the 2nd instance would change the users
status to OUT as it shut down & transferred operation to the first
instance.
Now fixed.
02 Aug 2002 - USER.EXE - Build 51
1. Fixes Invalid Serial Number problem when connected to a Remote Server.
(Further enhancement to the bug fixed 30 July)
30 Jul 2002 - USER.EXE - Build 64.
Removed the reliance on ''.manifest'' files for Windows XP.
30 Jul 2002 - USER.EXE - Build 50
1. Fixes Invalid Serial Number problem when connected to a Remote Server.
If there is an entry pointing back to the users HOME server, and they
select it, an Invalid Serial Number error message is generated (because
WHOS-IN is comparing the 'remote' serial number to it's 'home' serial
number - and they are the same because the user has 'looped-back' to
their home server).
2. Administrator updates to 'Status Types'
appearing on the users ToolBar are now displayed at the next 'refresh'.
3. Removed the reliance on ''.manifest'' files for Windows XP.
This eliminates a recently discovered problem which
prevents XP users from running WHOS-IN 2002 on NT4 Servers hosting
manifest files. (This is a MS bug)
NOTE: The manifest files (user.exe.manifest and admin.exe.manifest) should be deleted from your WHOS-IN
folder to prevent this problem from occurring in future. More info on
the manifest bug available at:
