Kill Purged Messages:

This command allows you as the Administrator to permanently remove messages that have been deleted and purged by the users. Once the command is issued, it cannot be undone.

 

The database should be compacted (using the REPAIR command) after purged messages are removed to free up the disk / record space previously occupied.
