WHOS-IN Pro - Admin Help

Introduction:

The WHOS-IN Pro Administration Program ( ADMIN.EXE ) is used for the following:

Adding, deleting or modifying Users, Groups, Status Types, Message Types and Servers.
Importing user names and phone numbers from an ASCII text file.
Repairing the WHOS-IN Pro database.
Altering the Path to the database files.
Establishing connections to Remote Server databases.

The database uses Microsoft Access 2000 format for data storage.
The programs have been designed using Microsoft Visual Basic version 6.

NOTE: The screen shots depicted in this Help system are from Windows Vista, and will not exactly match your screen if you are running a different version of Windows.

WHOS-IN is not (technically) A 'Designed for Windows Vista or XP' application (primarily because we have not as yet paid Microsoft to use the 'official' logos) - however we have designed it to take advantage of the special features of Vista and XP. Most Vista and XP style features should also be displayed on earlier version of Windows (98 or 95) however these remain untested, and are not 'officially' supported.
